ListReady Privacy Policy

ListReady is a mobile app built by Landau Labs LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it plain because it's short.
What we collect
- Account info — your Apple user identifier and (if shared during Sign in with Apple) your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Clerk on our behalf.
- Scan content — the short walkthrough video you record, the frames extracted from it for analysis, and the resulting report. Videos and reports are tied to your account.
- Push notification token — if you grant notification permission, your device's APNs token, used solely to notify you when a scan is ready.
- Service logs — request timestamps, IP addresses, and error logs that our hosting providers retain transiently for reliability and abuse prevention.
We do not collect contacts, location, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or any data outside the app's use.
How we use it
- To analyze your scan video and generate the punch-list report.
- To show your scan history to you, and only to you.
- To notify you when a scan finishes processing (if enabled).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train any AI models.
Who we share with
We use a small set of vendors to run the service. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Anthropic — receives the frames extracted from your scan to generate the report. Anthropic's API terms state that API inputs are not used for model training.
- Vercel — hosts our backend, our scan video storage, and our domain.
- Neon — hosts our Postgres database (account records, scan metadata, reports).
- Clerk — handles Sign in with Apple and session management.
- Apple Push Notification service — delivers scan-ready notifications to your device.
How long we keep it
Your account, scans, and reports are kept until you delete your account. When you delete (Settings → Delete Account in the app), we permanently remove your account record, scan videos, and reports from our database and storage. Vendor logs may persist briefly (typically under 30 days) per their normal retention.
Your choices
- Delete your data — in the app: Settings → Delete Account. Required by Apple, honored by us.
- Disable notifications — iOS Settings → Notifications → ListReady.
- Stop using the app — uninstall the app and your local data is removed; deleting your account also removes the server-side copy.
Children
ListReady is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where reasonable, notify you in the app.
